Registered Democrats in Ashland will be holding a caucus at Ashland Town Hall on May 19th at 3:00pm to elect 9 delegates and 4 alternates to the 2019 Massachusetts Democratic Convention, where Democrats from across Massachusetts will gather to adopt a new Party Platform. The Convention will be held on Saturday, September 14th at the Mass Mutual Center in Springfield.

The caucus is open to all registered and pre-registered Democrats in Ashland, and the
Democratic Committee welcomes participants. Pre-registered Democrats who will be
age 16 by May 11, 2019 will be able to participate in caucuses and run for delegate. Delegates will be divided equally between men and women, and all ballots will be written and secret. Delegates may be nominated and elected in absentia, but you must be present to vote. In the spirit of inclusion, youth, minorities, and people with disabilities who are not elected as delegates or alternates may apply to be add-on delegates, either at their caucus or online at www.massdems.org
